EURCHF long trade on 30/8/22
Pre-Analysis:-
- CHF was the weakest currency across the board. All CHF pairs broke Asia trading session.
- Entry during New York session, time of entry 9:48pm
- Target set at 2R.
Post-Analysis:-
- I lost this trade, but able to scratch it and reduce the loss.
- My entry was wrong, although price did not hit my stop if I let this trade run.
- There was a better entry appear after I closed this trade shown on the chart below.
- The entry I made was around the range that I believe will push up, but I did not wait for the price to show it will break to the upside.
- Instead I entered this trade base on my hope that price will push up. But in actual after I opened the trade price push down than I realised I was wrong and decided to exit to avoid bigger loss.
- If I waited for the right moment, I will not loss this trade. All my mistake.
- Here is chart that show where should I enter this trade.
- But it unable to hit 2R profits target
- It only reach roughly 1.5R profits only but it is better than loss.
