4 June 2025: EURUSD

 EURUSD long trade on 4/6/25

Pre-Analysis:

- I trade this based on daily price, which is trending up.

- Daily strength meter EUR = +1, USD = -6

- 4 hour strength meter EUR = +2, USD = -7

- Risk $10 with exit plan was to take partial profit at previous downward price in H4 timeframe. The remaining position will target at previous high of daily timeframe or maybe a break out to the new high.

- If price remaining at around my entry, I will reconsider to scrap this trade.

Entry:

- Entry time 3:26pm

- Immediate strength meter

Post Analysis:

- Scratch this trade with small lost.
- Entry should wait around 4:30pm as only this time price really show it broke the Asian session range.
- But if I got in later will I hold to my position as after that price went back towards my stop?
- Price really went up during New York session, but I was hesitant to re-enter as immediate strength meter didn't show EUR as the strongest currency.

- What a waste as price did went up and I may take half profit and let the remaining position as planned.

10 Apr 2025: EURUSD

 EURUSD long trade on 10/4/25

Pre-Analysis:

- Both daily and H4 timeframe was on uptrend. The idea was to wait for pullback and time a buy entry should it continue in uptrend.

- Risk $10

- Take profit plan, consider to take at previous high.

- News release consideration was on US CPI data (release on 10/4 8:30pm)

Entry:

- Entry time 3:33pm (London session)

- Immediate strength meter

Post Analysis:

- Consider as good entry and execution, time it perfectly.
- Only able to extract 1.7R profit only.
- Possible max profit at the end of week is 10R, as price reach as high as 1.14742
- While entry was good but I leave huge money on the table.
- I exited my position due to fear that I will loose those 1.7R profit should price reverse back.
- Should I consider to wait for break of new high before considering taking profit?.
- Fear because of my previous trade turn against me after hitting some 2R profit while I am considering to target breakout to a new
 high level.
- Taking profits also need to be master.

Post Analysis:

- Closed with miniscule profit.
- Price move until 2R profit value, but I stay with my plan to wait for new high to book a profit.
- I also move my stop at break even on 17/3/25 trading day.
- Entry price can be improve by taking an entry inside small range that occur before price launch.
- On next day, during London session price aggressively went back to my entry level, this made me decided to close as a measure to capital protection.
- This trade management maybe different if I take partial profit at previous high and let the trade run if price able to break previous high.
- Maybe on future trade I should take partial profit.
