 USDJPY long trade on 12/11/24

Pre Analysis:

- Trade based on H4 timeframe, there was trend developing on this pair. Upon pullback or discount been offered, I then interested to take this trade for a buy.

- Watchlist: Buy (USDJPY/ CADJPY)

- Strength meter

Entry:

- Entry time 5:54pm

- Immediate strength meter:

Post Analysis:

- I prepared well for this trade, however after I was shaky as the trade not launch immediately. It only launch during New York session.

- I was about 50-50 on this trade as it didn't launch immediately. Lucky I hold on.

- Exit was bad, as only able to book 1.2R only.

- Trade went for 2R on this trading day.

- I will opted to target 2R profit as my recovery plan to get my account back at initial balance.

- If my account recover, will think to change profit taking plan into ride on profits.

Update (16/11/24):

- Trade able to reach max profits of 7R. Price reach as high as 156.751

Pre Analysis:

- Trade based on H4 timeframe. But I need to be very careful as price at the top of range referring to daily chart

- H4 chart

- Strength meter

- Exit plan: try to ride this trade until price ranging in H4 timeframe.

Entry:

- Entry time 4:02pm

- Immediate strength meter

Post Analysis:

- Scratch this trade, reason: feel very valnarable as I mess up with entry. As price turn back I feel worried that this trade may not work.

- Should entry around price 0.63049 this gave me confident to hold on.

- Little bit late in entry as I am occupied with my son's therapy activities. Very difficult to handle 2 works at the same time.

- Trade may work but price keep turn back towards entry point. This may influence my decision.

 EURJPY short trade on 8/11/24

- Trade based on counter trend using H4 timeframe.

- The story was 'store' unable to attract more buyer to buy this, therefore in their mindset they might dumb the products/ give discounts to find buyers.

- We can plan to dumb as well considering price may drop following 'store' mindset.

- Strength meter: 

- Entry time around 11:00am (Asia session)

- Immediate strength meter:

- Exit plan, possible to target previous area where price launch.

- Trade based on counter trend or reversal using H4 timeframe.

- Entry time around 4:00pm (London session).

- Trade setting up while some results of US presidential election 2024 came out.

- This based solely on technical chart, I didn't have immediate strength meter recorded.
